That was my definition of Christian fantasy. But I have discovered that there are many more books that fit that definition as well. Just for fun, I've listed some series that I've read or begun to read that I would classify as true Christian fantasy.
Heartless, the first in The Goldstone Wood series, swept me away with dragons, betrayal, and what true love really means. Many reviews on both Goodreads and Amazon say that the plot is simplistic. The fact is, the story is deeper than the plot. Especially if you read the rest of Anne Elisabeth Stengl's books in the series. It is very hard to not see the true depth of Heartless if you don't read the other books Anne Elisabeth wrote after it.
